About us

Hi, I'm Michael Hanrahan. You might like to know a bit about us before choosing to use our services. My father was a writer, so I grew up in a house overflowing with books. I've inherited his love of words and writing, which is why I chose to work in publishing. I completed my Post Graduate Diploma in Professional Writing and Editing at Deakin University in 1997, and have since worked in-house and as a freelancer. I have held the positions of editor, editor and production coordinator, and managing editor for Wrightbooks (Australia's leading publisher of business and finance titles) and John Wiley & Sons Australia. I worked with many bestselling authors during my time in-house. I also have freelance experience in writing, editing and design for a wide range of clients, including Australian Book Review, Bystander Press, QCO International, SWAG art gallery, Southern Cross Care (Vic), Overland, and QBE Insurance.
My name is Anna Clemann. I have a degree in Journalism and Literature as well as a Graduate Diploma in Public Relations. I have worked as a Publicist in the publishing industry and as a Marketing Coordinator for a not-for-profit organisation. I have years of experience writing media releases for all mediums and tailoring marketing plans for specific purposes and audiences, as well as writing copy for advertorials, newsletters, websites and brochures. I also spent several years working in a bookshop, and I have recently completed a Diploma of Arts (Applied Photography) in photography.
At MHPS we have access to a wide range of freelance editors and designers, and we get printing advice from the biggest and best printers in Australia. We use the latest design and publishing computer applications to give you the best results.
